This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career South African accountant to build practical accounting experience, gain international exposure working with a UK team, and grow within a supportive environment. <strong>One position is available.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Location<\/h2>\n<p>This role is based in South Africa (remote-friendly), working alongside a UK-based finance team.<\/p>\n<h2>Planned Start Date<\/h2>\n<p>The planned starting date for this position is <strong>October 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Minimum Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>0&#8211;2 years of accounting experience (recent graduates and trainees welcome).<\/li>\n<li>A relevant accounting qualification, diploma or degree (e.g. BCom Accounting or equivalent).<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of core accounting principles, the accounting cycle, reconciliations and general-ledger basics.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and bank reconciliations (practical experience is a strong advantage).<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or Pastel).<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail, numeracy and a genuine willingness to learn.<\/li>\n<li>Clear written and verbal English communication for working with an international team.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work South African hours with some overlap with UK business hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preferred Credentials<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>BCom in Accounting \/ Financial Accounting, or actively studying towards a professional qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Registered as a trainee with SAICA, SAIPA or CIMA (or working towards registration).<\/li>\n<li>Progress towards CA(SA), AGA(SA), Professional Accountant (SA) or ACCA is highly regarded.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with cloud accounting tools and month-end processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What We Offer<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on experience working with a UK-based finance team.<\/li>\n<li>International, cross-border accounting exposure.<\/li>\n<li>Local South African employment and support.<\/li>\n<li>Real career-growth and study-support opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Refer a Friend<\/h2>\n<p>Know a talented junior accountant who would be perfect for this role?
