You will work within a supportive international environment while building valuable cross-border accounting experience alongside a UK team. <strong>One position is available.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Location<\/h2>\n<p>This role is based in South Africa (remote-friendly), working alongside a UK-based finance team.<\/p>\n<h2>Planned Start Date<\/h2>\n<p>The planned starting date for this position is <strong>October 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Minimum Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>3&#8211;5 years of relevant accounting experience.<\/li>\n<li>A relevant accounting qualification or degree (e.g. BCom Accounting or equivalent).<\/li>\n<li>Solid working knowledge of the full accounting function: general ledger, journals, reconciliations, VAT and month-end close.<\/li>\n<li>Experience preparing management accounts and supporting the reporting cycle.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or Pastel).<\/li>\n<li>Sound understanding of South African tax and statutory requirements (SARS, VAT, PAYE).<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Clear written and verbal English communication for working with an international team.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work South African hours with some overlap with UK business hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preferred Credentials<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed SAICA, SAIPA or CIMA articles \/ professional training.<\/li>\n<li>A professional designation such as CA(SA), Professional Accountant (SA) [SAIPA], AGA(SA), ACCA or CIMA (CGMA).<\/li>\n<li>BCom Honours in Accounting or a similar advanced qualification is advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with international or UK-based clients or teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What We Offer<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working with a UK-based finance team.<\/li>\n<li>International, cross-border accounting exposure.<\/li>\n<li>Local South African employment and support.<\/li>\n<li>Real career-growth opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Refer a Friend<\/h2>\n<p>Know an experienced accountant who would be a great fit?
