About the Role

Stepping into the role of Corporate Retail Operations Manager, you will take command of a vast network of fast-moving consumer goods outlets. You will translate board-level strategy into flawless store-level execution, streamline processes, enforce rigorous operational standards, and empower regional teams to deliver exceptional retail experiences and sustained profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily retail operations across multiple high-volume FMCG locations.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency and drive sales growth.
• Ensure stringent compliance with corporate standards, health and safety regulations, and labour laws.
• Analyse operational metrics to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and performance-manage regional managers and store leadership teams.
• Collaborate with the supply chain division to guarantee optimal stock availability and minimise shrinkage.
• Drive customer service excellence initiatives to enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Manage operational budgets, controlling expenditures without compromising on quality.
• Spearhead the rollout of new store openings and corporate retail initiatives.
• Report directly to the executive board on operational performance and strategic milestones.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of retail operations experience, with at least 3 years at a senior management level within FMCG.
• Proven ability to manage multi-site retail operations and large-scale workforces.
• Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives.
• Valid driver’s licence and the flexibility to travel extensively across the region.
