This is a senior, permanent leadership role for a security expert ready to own an enterprise-wide security strategy, lead a talented team, and protect one of the country’s most valuable digital estates. About the Role

As the Cyber Security Architect and Information Security Manager, you will define and drive the organisation’s security vision. You’ll set the standards, design the architecture, and lead the people and processes that keep a complex, high-availability environment secure. This is a strategic role with genuine executive visibility and the mandate to build a best-in-class security capability.

What You’ll Do

• Own the enterprise cyber security strategy, roadmap and security architecture.
• Lead and mentor a team of security engineers and analysts, building a high-performing security function.
• Design secure cloud and hybrid architectures and govern identity, data and network security.
• Establish and mature the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) programme aligned to ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS and POPIA.
• Oversee the Security Operations Centre, incident response and threat-intelligence capabilities.
• Report on cyber risk to executives and the board, and manage third-party and vendor security.

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years’ experience in cyber security, with a strong track record in security architecture or security management.
• Deep expertise across cloud security, network security, IAM and enterprise security frameworks.
• Proven leadership experience building and running security teams.
• Senior certifications strongly preferred — CISSP, CISM, CISA, SABSA, TOGAF or cloud security specialisations.
• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related discipline.
• Outstanding communication skills, able to translate cyber risk into business language for executives.
